Dorothy Mursau, 85, of Pound passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her home. The daughter of the late Fredrick and Caroline (Schwittay) Badora was born on March 25, 1927 in the town of Brazeau. She was married to John Mursau on December 18, 1948 at Pound. The couple farmed in the town of Brazeau on the home farm. She worked at Country Gardens, Inc. in Coleman for a few years. Dorothy also did domestic cleaning for many local residents. She was avid gardener, loved flowers, and ice fishing. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandson, Daniel. Dorothy was a member of Christian Life Center, Pound. Surviving are 2 daughters; Carol Mursau of Pound and Karen (Richard) Pillath of Pound; one grandson, Daniel Pillath of Pound; one sister-in-law, Alice Boyd of Pound; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John in 2004; twin infant granddaughters; 5 brothers; Henry, Jim, Willard, Orville, and Dennis; and 4 sisters; Evelyn McClure, Inez Kostreva, Esther Henneman, and Lydia Rosner. Relatives and friends may call at the Christian Life Center, 2023 County Rd. Q West, Pound after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2nd until the time of funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Rev.
