Florian A. Fendrick

Florian A. Fendrick, 81, of Pound in the town of Beaver passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at home. The son of the late Anthony and Ann (Blachowiak) Fendrick was born March 2, 1931 at Beaver. He was married to Agatha Darga on October 4, 1958 at the former St. Leo Catholic Church, Pound. Florian served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was employed for American Airlines at O’Hara for eight years. He worked for Marinette Marines as he started his first love of farming. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a Eucharistic minister for St. Anne Catholic Church, Coleman of which he was a member. Surviving are his wife, Agatha; 6 children; Francis (Leanne), Joanne (Thomas) Nowak, Margaret (Wayne) Anderson, Dr. Lucille Fendrick, Rita (Scott) Chapman, and Luke (Kari); 21 grandchildren; Jason Fendrick, Tabitha Seefeldt, Jeremiah Fendrick, Trista Fendrick, Joel Fendrick, Vincent Anderson, Jacqueline Anderson, Julia Fendrick, Matthew Fendrick, Rachel Nowak, James Nowak, Bridget Manske, Joshua Nowak, Darlene Maloney, Christine Nowak, Louise Nowak, Douglas Nowak, Sharon Nowak, Theresa Nowak, Issac Nowak, and Abraham Nowak; 17 great grandchildren, and a sister, Deloris Kurwicki. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Ann Fendrick; and infant son, Florian Francis. Relatives and friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman from 4-8 p.m. on Monday with Knights of Columbus Vigil at 6:30 p.m. and Parish Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation continues Tuesday, August 14th at St. Anne Catholic Church, 228 E. Main St., Coleman from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Rev. Celestine Byekwaso will officiate with burial in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Pound with Military Rites by the American Legion & VFW at graveside. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
